VARIETAL COMPOSITION:

Nebbiolo 55%, Vespolina 50 %, Uva Rara 5%

PRODUCTION AREA:

Municipality of Boca, locality Montalbano.

GRAPE HARVEST:

Begins in early October when the grapes have reached the correct maturity.

AGEING:

24/30 months in oak barrels and further twelve months bottle – ageing at constant temperature.

PAIRINGS:

Excellent with braised beef, fowl and aged cheeses.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:

Ideal temperature around 20° C.

COLOUR:

Intense ruby red colour tending to garnet.

AROMA:

Typical, , ethereal. You can recognize violet, rose, almond and hints of wild berries.

TASTE:

Full and strong but velvety and dry with a pleasantly bitter background.
