Municipality of Sizzano.
GRAPE HARVEST
Begins in early October when the grapes have reached the correct maturity.
AGEING:
In order to ensure harmony and finesse, it’s required a minimum of two years aging in oak barrels and a further bottle – ageing for at least one year.
PAIRINGS:
Excellent cooking wine for braised beef, “stracotto”, game salami “risotto” (typical Italian dish based on rice).
SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Ideal temperature: around 20°C.
COLOUR:
Clear, ruby red with garnet reflections.
AROMA:
Composite, delicate and pleasant, among floral hints stands out the violet scent
TASTE:
Wine with excellent structure, full and delicate. Balanced tannic, warm, very persistent, exceptionally harmonic.
